Richmond Teen Therapy offers specialized services for parents of teenagers, focusing on the unique challenges and transitions faced during this critical developmental stage. foundations of teen parenting

This session is all about the fundamentals. There’s no rulebook for being a parent of a teenager and, oftentimes, when we arrive at this stage in life we arrive with more questions than we have answers.

You will walk away from this session with education on adolescent development as well as evidence-based interventions to support enhanced understanding and connection with your teenager.

Investment: $250
(one 90 minute session)

strategy sessions

These are recommend for parents whom are seeking support with a specific challenge within the adolescent/parent dyad. The structure of these sessions is educational.
Prior to the two hour session, you will receive a detailed questionnaire so session time can be spend exploring solutions.

You will walk away with at least 2-3 concrete strategies to address the situation, a written summary of our discussion, and several recommended resources

supporting your anxious child

Research from Yale University shows that specific, targeted parent education and intervention can be as effective in treating childhood anxiety as traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is with teens.

Often times the ways we respond to our anxious kiddos creates a cycle of reliance that actually makes their worries worse.

This three session package provides education, coaching and support for parents who have a child with an anxiety disorder.
